
Vivian Shi
Vivian Shi was born in Shanghai and grew up in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. She worked as a secretary in a local hospital director's office and had the opportunity to work in the field of academic exchange. On the one hand, she experienced the development of Chinese food in the United States, and she accumulated working experience in the catering industry and built up a knowledge system for her career.
She noticed that dessert stores were not popular at that time. "I always thought how to have a place where my friends could come to drink milk tea, eat bakerys, and relax," so she bravely tried to open a bakery and named it "Catherine Bakery".
施晓玮出生在上海,成长在河南郑州,因为曾在地方医院院长办公室做秘书,有机会接触到学术交流等领域的工作,渐渐有了「世界那么大、我想去看看」的想法。之后来到纽约,先从中式快餐店打工做起,但与一些仅知道埋头做工的人不同,她非常积极地学习和吸收各种自己之前没了解和接触过的信息,一方面亲身感受中餐饮食在美国的发展过程,另一方面积累在餐饮界的工作经验,也建立从业的相关知识体系。
施晓玮表示,眼看纽约以及美国的华人越来越多,对中式餐点的需求也越来越高,她留意到当时甜品店还未普及,「我经常想着怎么能有一个地方,让朋友们可以来喝奶茶、吃点心、聊天放松」,于是勇敢尝试、开起了面包店,取名「凯诗琳」。

The essential reason why Catherine Bakery became famous because our yogurt is not only unique but also licensed by the health department, which is a guarantee of quality and deliciousness. During the epidemic, we added the Vitamin C flavored orange cake to the new products we developed to add more deliciousness to the desserts during the epidemic.
凯诗琳烘焙坊起初一炮走红的是具有中国特色的酸奶,我们的酸奶不仅很有特色而且获得卫生部门的许可,美味的同时有品质的保证,接着通过这一特色我们研发了一系列以酸奶作为基础发酵的面包甜点,所以凯诗琳的面包与普通发酵的面包有些许区别。疫情期间,我们在开发新品中又添加维C口味的香橙蛋糕,为疫情中的甜品添加更多的美味。
